Review: This book is charming and delightful, with lots of humor, and even mystery and suspense. Reading it will not only evoke laughter, but at times will move you to tears. It is fully engaging from beginning to end.

I definitely would recommend this to a friend, as I would the entire Mitford series. I would recommend starting with At Home in Mitford. A friend recommended this and others in the series to me. – SB

Review: This book has it all: obscene amounts of money, huge houses, multiple marriages/affairs, death, murder, and suicide. And gossip, gossip, gossip.

Review: If you like to read about other people’s hair-raising adventures from the comfort of your Lazy-boy, this is the book for you.

The author tries rowing west to east across the Atlantic in a 23 foot rowboat. She has some amazing close encounters with whales, dolphins, sharks, a turtle, and jellyfish.

The downside to the trip was the hurricane whose eye-wall passed her two times. Good summer read. – MM
